Family engagement provides role modeling, sharing of stories, setting new goals and attaining those goals! Teacher Lialoni invited both Movement is Medicine, LLC (MIM) and Native Strength Revolution to the Haak'u Learning Center. MIM provide movement activities at their Family Engagement Night. This past fall, MIM partnered with Sko Outside to host the the All Children Are Sacred Walk & Gathering. More than 75 people gathered to share in a heart to heart walk for No Bullying! Community participants from and surrounding Albuquerque used their legs to say NO to Bullying and the environments that allow bullying to exist and persist.

In today's fast-paced world, youth voices or input are often left out of the decision-making conversations. Especially when those conversations are about the youth! So, MIM took the opportunity to invite three youth to participate and travel to a national conference for Association of American Indian Physicians and health professionals in Seattle, WA.
